The following individuals have contributed their efforts, advice and support to the project.

Anne Anderson, Lower Trent Conservation
Anne Anderson graduated from the University of Guelph with a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture and an M.Sc. After a number of years in the west with the Ministry of Forests in British Columbia and the Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management in Alberta, Anne returned to Ontario. Anne has been the Watershed Management Coordinator at Lower Trent Conservation since 2005. In that role she is involved in many Conservation Authority programs including Source Protection.

Michelle Bennet, BurlingtonGreen
Michelle Bennett is a Director on BurlingtonGreen Environmental Association a local non-profit advocacy and awareness organization, also Vice-Chair of the Burlington Sustainable Development citizen advisory committee, and a founding member of the Save Our Waterfront community group. Through these memberships Michelle endeavors to promote principles and practices of sustainable consumption, environmental impact awareness, local food security, and development choices that respect the importance of our environment and heritage.

Roy Maxwell
Roy Maxwell is a veteran communications and media-relations specialist with more than 30 years worth of combined professional experience in journalism and corporate communications in the non-profit sector. In 2005, Roy formed Roy Maxwell Communications. Most of his work is on behalf of Drinking Water Source Protection Halton-Hamilton Region and Dairy Farmers of Ontario, a farmer-owned and farmer-funded organization operating on behalf of Ontario’s 4,000 dairy farmers. Roy says, “It is a pleasure to play a role in raising public awareness about Lake Ontario drinking water and how to protect it for present and future generations.”

Judy Smith Torrie, Go Green Together
Judy Smith Torrie is Executive Director of Go Green Together a not-for-profit service organization that works with communities in Northumberland County to improve energy and resource efficiency by offering information and programs to assist residents, local groups and business. Judy has been an environmental consultant for thirty years and is co-founder of Torrie Smith Associates specializing in energy, climate change and environmental assessment. She was a Director of the Ontario International Corporation and the Joint Environmental Advisory Committee for Environment Canada and Statistics Canada that produced the first and only complete State of the Environment Report for Canada. Judy also chairs the Environmental Advisory Committee for the Town of Cobourg.

Keith Taylor, Quinte Source Protection Region
Keith is a graduate of Trent University with a B.Sc. Degree in Geography. He has worked as a salesman, electrician and 28 years for various Conservation Authorities in a variety of positions. Keith was a founding member of the Prince Edward Round Table on Environment and Economy and served as Chair of the Prince Edward Trash Bash Committee for 15 years. He is currently the Source Protection Project Manager at Quinte Conservation. His favourite hobbies include music and travelling.

Romila Verma, Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy (CIELAP)
Dr. Romila Verma is an Assistant Professor at Brock University and a Lead Researcher with CIELAP. She is a skilled researcher in the field of water resources and environmental sustainability. She is passionate about educating and motivating the next generation of water and environmental resource managers.

Carolyn Webb, Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy (CIELAP)
Carolyn is responsible for communications, programme coordination, research and project support, and recruiting and supervising CIELAP's volunteers and interns. She has worked at CIELAP since 2005. Outside of CIELAP Carolyn helps coordinate InterChange: the Institute for Community-Based Peacebuilding, an organization that she helped co-found in 2004 and that now has active local chapters in Kenya, Uganda, and other regions of the world. She completed her Masters in Adult Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto, and has a Bachelors degree in Environmental Sciences and Statistics from the University of Guelph.
